The Nippon Budokan: judo on the octagon

The arena is an octagon 55 m across the flats; two contest areas on a platform are plausible, not the Games' own plan.

Judo contest areaDrawn as: a judo competition area of 2 contest areas of 10 by 10 metres, 4 metres apart, each in a safety area 4 metres wide, laid with tatami of 2 by 1 metres. The tatami lies on a platform one metre wider and longer than it. The tape that marks where the contestants start lies at the centre, 4 metres apart. The technical table is at the top.

The picture above was drawn when the docs were built. The script below draws it again with the published package.

import { drawKyogijo } from "@johnmorrisdotca/kyogijo-stadiums";
import { placeById, surfaceOf } from "@johnmorrisdotca/kyogijo-stadiums/atlas";

const svg = drawKyogijo({ ...surfaceOf(placeById("nippon-budokan")), crowd: true });

This page imports the package from jsDelivr (major version 0), which serves only versions that have been published to npm. A feature added after the last release is not in it: the page then keeps the picture above and says why. The docs were built from version 0.6.1.
