From which side of the board a layout is counted by solveSat.ts rather than by the search below. This search is what proved every level from 4×4 to 12×12 and what their difficulty marks are made from, so it stays as it was for them. From 13×13 it ran out of positions on nearly every board worth asking about, and a solver that learns from its dead ends (solveSat.ts) took over: there nodes and branches count its decisions and dead ends instead of positions (see countSolutionsSat), and the measure of difficulty reads them the same way.
